Updates for Monday, April 16

The deadline for the Equal Exchange Fundraiser has been extended to Monday, April 23. If you need a catalog or order form, contact Darcy Carson. You can view items online here.

We are still needing photos and forms for the Memory Book. Contact Sarah Bumgarner or Kerri Crabtree if you have questions. You can download a form here.

If you have gently used or new items to donate for BINGO prizes, contact Shari Kimery. It doesn't have to be anything expensive, just small prizes or you can send money and we will purchase prizes.

Kim McCoy has finished designing the invitations and tickets.

Michelle Cantrell and Susan McCaskill have been working on the picnic and we will be serving Mazzio's Pizza.

Rib Crib will be supplying the food for our luncheon.

Reminders to be sent out about needing donations for Sweet Shoppe, sales at carnival and Memory Books.

Updates from meeting on March 12:

The  “Epic” theme T-Shirt was the clear winner in the T-Shirt contest.  Decision will be made later on whether to list the names on the shirt or leave space for students to write their names.   
Sarah (and /or Kelly McCoy) will check on T-Shirt printing/pricing and advise.

Darcy is checking with Mrs. Taylor and verifying the last day of school since we have not used our snow days.  

Since the last day of school may be changed, possible picnic dates are either May 16 or May 10th with a rain date of May 16.  Concern is whether we can get the water turned on and the grass mowed beforehand.  Susan McCaskill/Michelle Cantrell is the coordinator for the event. Jim Brock will be donating the ice cream for picnic.  Shari will check on more soda donations from Rib Crib.

Darcy is checking on the luncheon and how we may need to tweak since there is an all-school picnic on our possibly last day of school.

Carnival:  The 5th Grade will host a Bingo game, Shari will coordinate.  We will also sell sweets and soda at Carnival.  Michelle will coordinate the cake walk for Carnival.

Fundraising: We are not doing the used book exchange, but will do a different fundraiser for  coffee and gifts with Equal Exchange Co-Op.   Information can be found here:  http://www.equalexchange.coop/fundraising .  Darcy Carson will coordinate the fundraiser. Expect catalogs to go home after Spring Break.

Darcy is trying to contact the TPS plumber to inquire about a drain for an ice machine.

Sarah and Kerri are working on the memory book.  Reminders will go out about getting photos in.  They are also taking extra photos of students around campus. 

Julie and Paul Haney are doing the video.

Next meeting is scheduled for April 16th 8:00 a.m.
