The Lee teachers,
administration, students and PTA all work together to make Lee
Elementary an exciting and great place to be. We are proud of
our school, our events, our enthusiasm and our community spirit.
Some of the activities you and your children can look forward to
at Lee include:
BareLee Back
Picnic: This celebration occurs shortly after
school starts and offers an informal time of interaction
between the students, faculty and parents. It is also a
great way to meet new families and welcome them to Lee.
Jog-a-thon:
Jog-a-thon is our annual fall fundraiser. This event
promotes the health of our students, excitement during the
event and fun for Lee families while also raising money for
our school.
Spring and Winter Activities: The Lee PTA sponsors two
exciting family activities each year. Whether it is our
Talent Show, Bingo
in the gymnasium, or an
End of Year Party,
the family activities are always sure to be fun for the
entire family.
Bagels and Books:
Young Authors are invited to write and illustrate their own
original book which is then bound into a hardcover limited
edition and placed on display during a “before school”
event.
Trivia Night:
Trivia Night is an adult-only activity for our Lee parents
and faculty. This event combines fun for adults while
challenging them to answer trivia questions in a spirit of
friendly competition. Combining Trivia Night with an auction
of Lee family donated items makes this fun event a very
successful fundraiser.
Volunteers - The Lee PTA could not be what it
is today without your help. Each of our programs need a
chairperson to organize each event as well as volunteers during
the event. Each volunteer will need to complete a
Volunteer Information form and an Volunteer Interest form.
Office Etiquette - The PTA provides an important service to
Lee Elementary School. However, to avoid disruption of the
learning program it is important to remember a few rules around
interacting with the Lee staff.
Budget - The fund raising activities allows the Lee PTA to
sponsor our important programs throughout the school year.
